Bestie is built around genuine human connection without surveillance. You control what you share, who sees it, and when.

We believe you should not have to trade your personal privacy to find good friends. You do not need to upload a photo of your face, link your social media, or tell anyone your real name to use Bestie. We never sell your data, we do not run behavioral advertising, and we do not track your location.
We ask for your email address to send passwordless login codes. We also collect your date of birth solely to verify that you are at least 18 years old. Your date of birth and email are never visible to other users.
You choose your handle, avatar style, interests, communication habits, and friendship stances. These are used by our matching engine to calculate mutual compatibility.
You may optionally store personal items in your private Vault, such as photos, social profiles, or your city. Items in your Vault remain encrypted and invisible to everyone until you deliberately share them, item by item, inside a conversation.
We store the posts and replies you publish to the community feed, as well as the conversations you have with your connected friends.
We do not share your private data with third parties except for trusted infrastructure providers essential to running the service. We organize these service categories below:
