Bestie is designed to be a safe, calm harbor from the noise of the internet. Here is how we treat each other.
1. Platonic Friendship Only
Bestie is strictly not a dating app. Unsolicited romantic advances, flirting, sexual comments, or treating the platform as a dating funnel will result in immediate removal from the matching pool.
2. Human-Written Content Only
Do not use ChatGPT, LLMs, or copy-pasted bots to write your profile, posts, or chat messages. People are here to talk to real humans, imperfect thoughts and all. Handwritten hits different.
3. Respect Boundaries & The Vault
Never pressure your match to reveal photos, real names, or social media links. Anything revealed in chat remains private between you two. Doxxing or screenshotting shared vault items results in an immediate permanent ban.
4. Zero Tolerance for Hate or Harassment
Hate speech, harassment, slurs, threats, and predatory behavior are immediately acted upon by moderators. If someone makes you feel uncomfortable, you can block them or report them at any time.
